Growing up!
I cant believe my first born is this big! Sending her off to second grade still made me cry. Allison definitely has first born tendencies. Last week when we had a friend come into town for a visit Allison was so persistent about cleaning her room perfect, she begged me to let her vacuum her room and when I obliged she asked to vacuum Cooper's too! Allison is so helpful with Beckett, when the lil guy cries and I go to see whats wrong most of the time Allison has beat me to Beckett. I love my Alli-cat and I am so excited for this new school year.
Cooper rambilings
A few days ago Cooper came up to me while I was feeding Beckett. This is what he told me.
"Someday I am going to get married to a girl. But I will never kiss her, because I only kiss my mommy!"
And then he walked away!
Lazy Saturday
My mom who is moving, was cleaning out one of her rooms and found this tent. Saying the kids love it is a understatement. This is the second time they have slept in it. I remember growing up and begging my mom to let my sisters and I have a slumber party in the living room. As an adult nothing beats my bed and I would have no desire to sleep some where else. But hey I am a softy and let the kiddos sleep in the living room in the tent and they had a blast!
Olympics 2012
I know the Olympics has come and gone, but I never did post about it! The Olympics is a big deal in our house! The last Olympics in 2008 I had a two week old baby who had is days and nights confused, so Richard and I literally stayed up all night watching the Olympics. And here we are four years later and we have another newborn baby and again we watched the Olympics. But this time Allison was totally into watching with us, that child would watch every sport and she understood who was winning, and where the USA was placing etc. She cheered for the USA with us, and it was such a fun thing to experience with her. Some of my favorite sports: gymnastics, track, and swimming. Last Olympics was amazing to see Michale Phillips win all those gold medals, and this year he didn't disappoint. Also is was amazing to see the Fab Five (girls gymnastics) do such a wonderful job! I also enjoyed all the commentary of past Olympians and the current contenders of certain sports. It was just wow, so sad to see it over tell the next 4 years!

Baby Bug
The first picture is of Beckett on the first day of school for the big kids! I carried or pushed him around in the stroller all over town that day! I am really enjoying my mornings to myself with this lil guy! Beckett has become my new walking buddy, trying to get back up to my three miles a day!! I cant believe how much he has grown lately! My baby bug is finally keeping more of his food down. Last week Richard and I realized Beckett had gone 48 hours with out vomiting! Alas he is still having his issues but occasional Beckett will go a 24 hour periods with out vomiting. He still has his bad days where his reflux is acting up, but Richard and I totally have things way more under control know. Beckett is more aware these days. Opening both his eyes and checking things out! He is still sleeping pretty decent, Saturday night he actually slept 5 hours straight! During our lazy Saturday we brought out Beckett's play mate, and that kid loved it. He has some serious control over his hands! He was totally grabbing the toys on the mate and both the kids had so much watching Beckett play.

10 years
Thursday Richard and I celebrated our ten year wedding anniversary! In honor of the day I thought I would list my top ten moments over the past ten years.
1. Our first kiss as husband and wife. Richard took me by surprise, he put his hand gentle on my cheek and gave me sweet kiss. It is one of my fondest memories.
2. Our first anniversary in California. It was Richard first time visiting Northern Ca. We took a ferry boat into San Fransisco.
3. Finding out Allison was a girl. It was such a special moment. Richard had been saying girl all along, and I was totally thinking boy. When the doctor said it was a girl, Richard started to cry and said "That's my lil princess". And to this day he calls Allison his princess.
4. Our 5 year wedding anniversary. We spent our anniversary with Allison who was 2 in the same town we had our honeymoon San Antonio. We shopped at the outlets, went to Sea World, and ate on the river walk.
5. When I found out I was pregnant with Cooper. I was shocked when my nurse called back after my yearly check up to tell me I was pregnant. When I called Richard crying he shouted out to all his coworkers my wife is pregnant and she is having a boy. In all actuality we didn't know. Some how Richard has guessed the sex of all our babies!!!
6. Our first Cowboys football game. We went to Dallas for the thanksgiving football game with no kiddos!
7. August 14th 2009 when we were sealed in the Lubbock Temple with two of our kiddos.
8. Our 8 year anniversary that we celebrated a month early in San Fransisco by ourselves! We walked the fisherman's wharf, saw all the sites including china town etc, and saw Wicked at the Orpheum!
9. Disneyland 2011!! Both the kids were bigger this time. Cooper was only 11 months old the last time we went and Allison was 4. This time Cooper was almost 3 and Allison was almost 6.
10. Beckett's pregnancy and birth! This being my last pregnancy I tried enjoying everything. Beckett's movements from his little jabs and kicks, to the hiccups he had in my belly, to listening to his heartbeat. Even thought my labor was rough, seeing him on my chest after he was born was a priceless moment that only a mother would understand. The love that I have for my son is indescribable. Having him in my life now is bittersweet, like he was meant to be all along. Sharing the moment of Beckett's birth with Richard was the top moment of this year!

First day 2012
Wednesday was the first say of school! The kids were super excited. I turned on Allison light and she jumped out of bed, and yelled "Its the first day of school"! Cooper on the other hand is normally my early riser and what do you know he choose today to sleep in! Thank goodness when I woke him up he was in a decent mood. Surprisingly things went very smoothly, I was able to feed, dress, and get everybody everywhere on time. I am exhausted from pulling Beckett's stroller out several times today, I need to get use to that again.
Allison said she had a fun day. She has two of her best friends in her class so that made it fun for her. I really like her teacher too. Allison told me she wants to be in second grade forever because its so fun. I definitely think this year is going to bring knew challenges for Allison, but I know she is up for it.
Cooper pretty much ran into his classroom, ran back and gave me a hug and said good bye! When I picked him up he was talking non stop. Telling me two kids were crying to go home but that he didn't want to go home.
Picture session
Well trying to get a picture of me and my three kiddos is not as easy as you would think! Thank goodness Beckett doesn't really move, and that Allison is such a good sport! And thanks to my amazing husband for trying to make my birthday wish for a picture with my babies come true. Thought I would share some of the rejects!
Birthday celebration
Saturday night was the first stop on my birthday train of celebration! We meet at my sister in laws house for a going away party for my niece and nephew, they are heading off to college this coming weekend. And we also celebrated my birthday. I loved all my gifts, I felt so spoiled! And I especially loved my ice cream cake!!! But most of all I enjoyed seeing everyone with Beckett! Almost everyone there took a turn holding my lil guy, it made my day!
Sunday was my actual birthday. It was kinda a rough start Beckett was sick most of the night vomiting several times and having extremely explosive bowel movements. We even had to give the lil guy a bath at 5am. Lets just say I was exhausted when the day began. After packing up the car and getting ready for the day we went to my sister's for a birthday lunch! This was one of my most memorable birthdays. Since my mom has been packing and sorting through things due to the move she found alot of "treasures". My mom brought a box full of toys which kept the kids busy for almost two hours. As we shared some amazing memories from the past together. I read letters I wrote home to my mom during a few of my summers away in CA. We look through old photos. Laughed as me looked through some of our report cards. And the highlight of the path down memory lane was when my mom read her journal entries of 1985.
This birthday helped me remember just how blessed I am. I have an amazing husband who will do anything to make me happy. I have such great family, who love me. And I also have many friends who enrich my life.
Weekend events
We drove into Midland early Saturday morning for a birthday party for my friends son and also for one of my oldest friends baby shower. Trying to leave the house with three kiddos and all our stuff for an over night trip was hard, lets just say we didn't leave on time!
My friend Crystal's son Preston turned one on Sunday, me and the lil guy share the same birthday! Crystal held Preston's birthday at a park. The kids had a blast playing on the playground's even thought it was pretty hot. I stayed cool under the pavilion eating BBQ and chatting with people. I cant believe a year has flown already, Preston is such a cute combination of his mama and daddy! I didn't take but one picture at the party, of Richard and Allison. Don't they look so alike?!
The Shower Saturday was for my friend Sandee. I have know Sandee since I was 9, both our families belong to the same church. We also attend the same school for many years and I bummed a ride with Sandee and her mom to seminary for two years. Sandee's baby boy is due September 2. We celebrated her and baby Moss at her shower. I had so much fun buying gifts for my friend, and I am so excited for this new journey she is about to embark on!!! I seriously enjoyed myself at this shower, I guess I haven't been getting out much lately since Beckett's birth. I pretty much chatted up everybody at there!

Last week of summer
Yesterday was our officially last swim day of the summer! We sure were busy this week, we had two seperate play dates with friends and went swimming one day. I even took all three kids grocery shopping, lol! This was one interesting summer and I cant help but say how glad I am that it is over! I was pregnant for more than half of it and then had a newborn the end of it. I felt so guilty not occupying the kids enough and I push myself to keep them busy. School starts on Wednesday and both the kids are super excited. Hope I am up for the challenge!

Sleep over
Allison begged us to let Cooper sleep in her room yesterday. If you know Cooper he is not the best sleeper. And if you know Allison she can sleep the entire day away! I was a little worried to let them sleep together, plus we have kept them on a pretty strict schedule with school starting next week. But heck we gave in! And what do you know they both sleep the entire night and slept in tell 8am!

1 Month
Today my sweet baby Beckett is one month old. Although with all my lil baby bugs issues it feels like he is still brand new! I feel like I am finally able to enjoy this sweet boy. Beckett still has his bad days where his reflux is worse. But mainly we are down to one or two vomits a day. Which is way better than 8 or 9 a vomits a day! Beckett's favorite thing is to be swaddled! All the pictures I take of this little guy is of him swaddled in blankets. Beckett is still a super sleeper, sleeping three some times four hour stretches! Also Beckett is finally starting to be more aware, opening his eyes more. I love when he is wide awake and I get to talk to him and he just stares at me. Beckett is also trying super hard to hold his head up, strong little guy. The big kids are just in love with there brother and fight over who gets to lay by him! Quiet moments with my new lil guy are my favorite, snuggling and smelling him. I am just so in love with Beckett and enjoying every moment with him.
2am
What do you do on a Saturday night 2 am feeding. Watch a movie and stay up late with your husband instead of sleeping. We rented a movie earlier in the day, This Means War with Reese Witherspoon. In between the kids keeping us busy it took us 3 hours to watch half the movie! Once 9:30 hit we decided to turn off the movie since Beckett was asleep. Well the little guy surprisingly sleep tell 2:30!! And when Beckett woke up Richard and I sat up and went to get him. Since we were both up Richard thought we should finish the movie. After I finished feeding my baby bug he was fast asleep. Richard and I stayed up to finish the movie and snuggle with each other. I had so much fun, it was definitely worth losing a little sleep over!

Fire Camp
Saturday morning we went to the Eunice fire station camp. One of Richard's coworkers is a volunteer firefighter and told us about the event. It was such a great event, I was blown away at the amount of activities for the kids. Cooper had a blast and asked to go back almost every day! Allison well she didn't complain but went through all the events. One of the kids favorite activities was a smoke maze room, where the kids had to find a teddy bear in the dark through generated smoke with a flash light. The kids also got to dress in bunker gear and ride the fire truck! And Cooper got soaking wet during one of the water activity, he kept pouring water on himself. After a few hours there we went to lunch with Richard's parent who were in town visiting us. It was a fun day and Beckett's first real outing!
Play time
With a new baby in the house we stay in doors most days. The kids have to occupy them selves and mommy has come up with many craft projects for them. Also the kids cant stop googling over there baby brother! I think its so sweet that the kids want to lay or hold Beckett. Allison was playing with her dolls and Beckett kept trying to grab and suck on the lil doll, had to take a picture it was to funny!
