Boys Part 2

My lil guys destructive streak followed through the whole weekend! Friday night I guess while Allison used the bathroom some how Cooper was able to grabbed the Ulta bag with my brand spanken knew eyeliner. I cant remember exactly what the children had done but I had to separate the children and put them in there rooms. While Cooper was in his room he decided to color his wall, door, and train table! After I let him out of time out I realized what he did. I was so upset at my self for leaving that in his reach. Saturday Cooper continued his devilish streak and decided to cover the house with baby powder. Potty training is going well, although Sunday at church while I was squatting down to help the lil guy his aim was a little off and he peed on me! "Sorry mommy, I clean it up!"

Boys......

My lil guy can be a handful but he has taught we to roll with the punches and to not be so uptight because with Cooper expect the unexpected! A morning with Cooper goes like this: By 12pm I had changed Cooper 3 times! Once because while I was starting the car and the kids were brushing there teeth Cooper managed to get toothpaste every where and spilled water all over himself and the bathroom. While Cooper and I were attempting potty training he was on the toilet he managed to misdirect his pee, ultimately we both changed. After lunch and a big ice cream fiasco another outfit was needed(someone proceed to re-fill his cone)! While I was cleaning the bathroom after the two tortuous events I thought I heard the screeching of a chair, sure enough I find Cooper trying to get into the cabinet. A cabinet I keep toys that need batteries, or repairs ,or missing pieces and Cooper decided he need something in there. I have to say some times my lil blue eyed demon exhaust me, but he sure does know how to keep a smile on my face.

Night Snack

Yesterday I made a big dinner the kids even had cookies for dessert. After there bath the wanted to watch a movie on my bed and eat popcorn. It was pretty close to bed time so I told the kids, Allison stated she wanted a snack! I was blown away since she had eaten tons earlier, but I told her she could and she chose to eat a banana. Cooper also wanted one, so the kids set at the table happily eating banana's and drinking milk. I enjoyed a cookie, rather health right! Our afternoon's are almost always eventful, with Richard at school almost every night I have become the night time events coordinator! I thoroughly enjoy my evenings with my babies, and everyone enjoys a late night snack!

Bake Day

Wednesday is bake day with my sister Courtney! We decide to make pizza and brownies! For some reason our dough did not come out, bummer. We didn't have time to make another batch so I ran to the store to buy some pizza dough. The pizza was yummy and the brownies were perfectly delicious. Cooper had a blast playing with his cousins, and of course I enjoyed every moment with my sister.

Presidents Day

Yesterday Allison had the day off from school, thanks to Presidents day. So we decided to hit up the ice skating rink in Odessa. We invited a friend from school and my sister and her son. We started off our adventure in Odessa at Fuddruckers for lunch. And Richard was even able to stop by for a bite to eat with us, the food was so yummy!!! Once lunch was over we headed off to ice skate. We were there for almost 2 hours, I seriously can not get over how well my lil girl can skate! Allison had a blast, you should have seen her version of an ice skaters outfit that I reluctantly allowed her to wear! I was so bummed that I forgotten my camera and my phone died so the only picture I have from yesterday was the one my sister took of the both of us during lunch!

Powder Donuts

Today Cooper got into the powder donuts!! I was making dinner and Cooper asked for the donuts and I told him after we ate. I had forgotten about it and I was preparing to give the kids a bath and was pulling some fresh towels from the dryer. I heard Cooper calling for me from the garage in the laundry room and figured he could wait until I was done. Apparently not, because the lil guy got a chair and scissors climbed on the kitchen counter and pulled the donuts out and cut them open and ate his fill! And what a mess he made! I caught him he was pretending the donuts were glasses and then a phone! Silly boy!

Good ole Friday and a busy day at that! The day started with a nice walking, store, library, lunch with Allison, quick visit at the park, Cooper nap, pick up Allison, and a little desert at Baskin Robins! What a day, my back has given up on me so I made a quick dinner and sent the kids outside after they turned the house upside down!!!! Allison in her bathing suite and the kids are eating popsicle's. Sounds like a nice full day to me!!!

Sunshine

If you could believe that last week we had weather in the single digits and this week in the mid 80's! Sunday afternoon it was so nice we decided to let the kids play outside for a while and enjoy the sunshine! We even ventured to the park on Tuesday with my sister and her son! I personally enjoy the warmer weather, it allows us to get outdoors and burn off some energy. My children could live outdoors, they love being outside. Every time Cooper wakes up from his nap he say ""Pick up Alli and go choo choo train park?" The Opportunity park is by far Cooper's favorite park because it has a train and Allison loves all the open space to ride her scooter! We are getting so excited, in exactly a month we will be at Disney Land!!! I seriously cant wait to take the kids back. Cooper was 11 months old and slept through most of his experience but Allison remembers every bit of it! She wants to ride the Peter Pan ride first, and you know what we probably will!

Bowling!!!

Once a week we have a family night, which we call family home evening. We get together, have a lesson for example about manners, loving one another, choosing the right etc and we also plan a small activity. Allison loves to bowel and so we deiced for this weeks family home evening we took the kids bowling! Allison has been several times but Cooper we have never taken bowling. Lets just say we had a BLAST!! Cooper clapped every time someone hit a pin even if it was one pin! If you can believe it Cooper made 2 strike! We of course had the bumpers up and the kid ramp to roll your pin off and Cooper had the second highest score out of the four of us! Did I mention I had the highest score???

Valentine's Day

This Valentine's day would round off some where on my top 5 V-days! The kids were feeling much better, Allison was well enough to go to school! I woke up Allison and she immediately yelled "Happy Valentine's Day Mommy", she ran to my bed and pulled a card out from under neath my pillow! A card she hand made, with perfect hand writing and beautiful pictures! Richard was in the shower and when he came into the kitchen he surprised me with flowers! Which I was surprised because he bought me my Valentine's gift last week, a sweet new phone that I am addicted too! I of course gave Richard a huge box of candy! And we gave the children there gifts, which both were very stoked!! Then the kids showed each other there gifts and I couldn't get over Cooper's face of "oh and aw!" like it was the coolest thing ever.... After we dropped Allison at her school full of gifts since she missed her party Friday. Cooper and I went for a walk and to the grocery store. And made a random visit to give my mother and father in law a Vday gift. When I put Cooper in the car after we left my mother in laws he said "I saw Grandma, that was fun!" such a sweet heart, he was a shy booger while we were there hiding his face in my chest. Who knows what the rest of the day holds, besides our dinner plans of spaghetti the kids favorite!

A sick weekend

This weekend would not be one of my top picks for weekends. Allison woke up on Friday with a high fever, bummer she totally had to miss her Kindergarten Valentines party. Then thirty minutes later Cooper woke up with a fever too! Lets just say the weekend went down hill from then. Doctor visit, cough attacks, several fevers, and whinny babies! At one point on Friday I had both kids on opposite sides of me a sleep. Allison seems to be feeling better today, but Cooper is about a day or two behind Allison just thirty minutes ago Cooper had a 102 fever. After I gave Cooper his medicine I found Allison asleep in the living room listening to her mp3 player!

Made some yummy lunch and the kids played! After dinner tonight the kids and I made brownies what a mess it was so fun! Cooper skipped his nap today and went to bed early, Allison played quietly in her room with some of her crafts. I got to watch Glee all by myself!!!!

And I cant leave out that they were dressed in fitting attire. Although the show only last 30 minutes, I am positive they enjoy ever second. Sleep overs, a Birthday, and Super Bowel!

We had a fabulous weekend! I loved almost every minute of our weekend, besides the debilitating head ache I experienced. The kids really enjoyed each other, the played for hours together on Friday, talk about the house turned upside down! Cooper even played dress up with his sister! The kids ended up spending the night with my in laws because my brother in law and his kids came in to town. Slumber party!!!!! To bad Richard had class until almost 10pm! But we slept in and enjoyed breakfast at I Hop alone! Yesterday was my Father in laws birthday and Super Bowel. WE had a blast there, amazing food and company!!!!

a little prayer

Yesterday morning the roads were probably the worst I had seen. Even with the late start the streets were covered in snow. It took me 15 minutes to drive Allison to school, and we live pretty close. I was really nervous driving and Allison kept asking what was wrong. I told her the roads were pretty bad and I was scared to drive on them. She said "Don't worry mom it's going to be okay, lets just pray to Heavenly Father and he will help us get to my school." And you know what she prayed right there in the car, even Cooper folded his arms and said amen. Guess what we made it just fine to Allison school.

Trains, Scooters, and dress up time

You ask what we have been doing...... I thought I would post a few pictures of the past 3 days we have been stuck indoors! Cooper and I have spent our days indoors, poor Alli-cat as had to go to school these past few days at least 2 of those days were delay starts. We had lows in the negatives and highs in the teens! And snow, snow and more snow! The kids have been riding there scooters around like crazy, that's right Cooper learned how to use his scooter!!!
