~Monday~

Another fantastic weekend down!!! Friday we celebrated my big sister's bday with the whole family minus my sister Courtney who wont be back from California until October 6! We all meet up at Osaka's restaurant, yummy!!! And what an interesting atmosphere! Cooper was decent, and kept oh and aw~ing at the fire and love all the decor surrounding the restaurant. He even tried some of Richard sushi and ate almost all the rice Richard and I split for him, oh and a bowl full of lemons too! It was a great time with family! Saturday we started of the day with a soccer game! Go bumble bees!!!!! Our girls won 10-1 and Allison scored a goal, actually every girl on the team scored a goal!! Then we went straight from the game to my two favorite twins bday party, then ended the day at the fair, that is until it rained! We came home and were lazy for the reminder of the day, bliss! Sunday was uneventful, church and cowboy's game! YAY for Monday!

Wrap up

Its been another busy week, glad it's flown by though! I thought I would wrap up with some pictures from our last weekend adventures.

A week ago Sep 17, 2010 one of Richard's classes was postponed from Monday to Friday, because of that we had to miss my nephews home coming game and we allowed Allison to go with my in laws. My step Dad was out of town and since Allison was gone and Richard was going to have class Friday night my mom invited Cooper and I to dinner. Richard arrived home a little early which was nice because he was able to see Allison off and spend time with Cooper and I. We deiced to water the front yard and spend some time outside. Cooper immediately grabbed the hose and starting watering the yard, he loves watering the yard as much as his grandma. Richard thought it was so funny how serious about it he was so he grabbed the camera for a picture!

Saturday 9/18 Which was actually our 11 yr anniversary (the night Richard and I met, I laugh because Richard actually never asked me out and I think like 3 months went by and when some other guy asked me to home coming I mentioned that to Richard so we count the day we meet as our anniversary... random fact I know) We had a wedding reception to attend for a close family friend of mine and decided to make a quick cameo with the kids. We got dressed up to go and here are a few pictures from that!

~Sister's~

Today is my big sisters birthday. We are 4 years and 11 months apart. Last week, exactly was my little sister Courtney's birthday (although I do not see her is my lil sis). We are 13 months and two days apart. I guess I use my blog mainly to talk about my children and current event's that happen in my everyday life but I don't mention my sister's a lot. I was truly blessed coming into this world with a big sister and even more blessed when my two younger sister's followed not long after my birth. I literally grew up with life long friends. I honestly cant imagine my life with out my sisters. We have been through everything together, I have often said friends come and go but a sister is forever. I could count on my sisters for anything. Some times I think because we live in the same town we take that for granted but I have plans to get us together more. So I guess I dedicate this post to my sisters, I love each one of you every much and all of you play a very important part in my life. I know that I wouldn't be the women/mother I am today if it wasn't for the roles you played in my life. I love you.

Saturday and Soccer

Saturday Allison had her second soccer game of the season! She loves soccer and is always asking me when her next game is! Richard's sister bought Allison some really cute pom pom bows for her hair and her soccer cleats. Allison's soccer game wasn't until 10:30 but guess who was dressed at 9 am! I tried to tie the bows in her hair and she complained about them. I figured she would eventually forget about them and she did, but the shoe bows didn't stay on well so we didn't wear those. The soccer game went ok, Allison's coach wasn't able to make it and we were missing some players due to sickness and one being out of town. And then the referee lost track of time and made the girl's play twenty minute half's! But my baby girl played her little heart out, she honestly did her very best even scored the first goal for her team! We lost, which was our first lose since last year! I believe the score was 5-3, the referee took two points of because the other team was playing unfairly using one of the girls as a goalie, which is not allowed with U6 girls. It was a tough lose but our girls played tell pure exhaustion! This was our first stop on the Saturday train......

~Weekends~

This is how I feel after our crazy busy weekend! Its funny because our weekends don't slow down until November. I seriously actually look forward to the week, to find some normalcy and regroup! I never imagined our life this hectic, but its fun to see family and friends and be involved in activities. I remember this time two years ago Cooper was almost 2 months old and I am sure I probably couldn't have told you what day of the week it was. With all the hustle and bustle we really enjoyed our busy weekend! I plan to recap it through the week on the blog, make sure to tune back in!!!

OUR new house!

SO I thought I would share with my blog world and show you some pictures of our new place! Things are finally falling into place. The garage is clearing out and the yard is coming around. I am starting to feel like this is my home, I am able to finding where things are. I ready for the weather to change and things are plowing right along with our lil family. Richard is in thick of the school semester and work is going great, Richard loves working with Chevron. Although neither of us like the fact he has to drive 3 hours per day back and forth all week but were managing! Allison school is going GREAT! She wakes up just fine, goes to bed with no problems. She actually tells me I cant wait to go to school in the morning and that makes me smile. Cooper is almost over his sickness but has a lingering cough. He has been wild crazy everyday, I have never seen a child so full of life and so gosh darn destructive. Hope we survive our weekend, with Allison soccer game, two birthday parties, a wedding reception, and the Annual UT/Tech game.

~The Blue Eyed Demon~

Yesterday I could tell Cooper was starting to feel better when he began to return to his normal rampaging of the house. When he was sick just a few short days ago all he wanted to to was be held, boy that's come and gone! He began his day at 6:30 am! While watching the wiggles and eating a banana I thought it was safe to let him play while I jumped in the shower, oh man was I wrong! I rushed through the shower to come out and find ever toy Cooper owned in the living room with banana every where and I mean every where: smashed on the wall, on the coffee table in his hair! Lets just say the day continued with the same tone! The lil guy refused to nap, this is the kid who usually nap for well over 2 hours, for example I woke him up after a 3 hour nap to get Allison today and he told me no "I SLEEP". Well I fought Cooper yesterday to take a nap from 12:30 tell 2:30 and he won! I gave up, while cleaning the annihilation of his room, some how Cooper pushed a chair to the kitchen counter grabbed my purse and hide in the corner of my room, to play with my lip gloss! When I notice he had been to quite I found him with my lip gloss all over him; his face, his eye brows, his eye lashes, his hair, his hands, his clothes gezzz! So the day continued with this behavior and about 7pm mommy had had enough! I but the little blue eyed demon to bed! And guess what after five minutes, and I am serious five minutes I went in to give him his moo moo and he was a sleep quiet peacefully too! Thanks Cooper, for giving up and giving mommy a break!

Sick, sick, sick!

Lovely Monday after a long weekend!! Poor Cooper started coughing around the last week of August so I took the lil guy in to his pediatrician and was told he had viral throat infection as did Allison, they would have to fight it off, prescribed me some cough medicine. Well Cooper's cough started to get worse he seemed to have a hard time breathing and started to have some congestion, and still his cough continued. Well Friday I could hardly stand it so I called his pediatrician who was on vacation and they refereed me to a clinic that was in there group and scheduled Cooper an appointment. I had a crazy busy day, taking Allison lunch, helping my mother who was also really sick, and trying to go to my own chiropractors appointment. I picked up Allison from school and took Cooper straight to the clinic. The Dr looked Cooper over and immediately asked me if he had asthma, which shocked me "NO, my son does not have asthma, that's news to me sir!" He wanted Cooper to lay down so he could look at his throat, as I tried to lay him down he had a coughing fit and literally STOPPED breathing, the Dr quickly told me to pick him up and pat his back and reached in a drawer and gave Cooper a puff from an inhaler! He then took his time listened to Coopers breathing, and told me I had a very sick little boy on my hands! Verdict bronchitis which caused server asthma. I left the Dr office with a prescription for 4 medicines to give Cooper; an inhaler, cough meds, nasal meds, and antibiotics! It was indeed a long weekend, Cooper had many more coughing fits we even let him sleep with us one night so we could keep an eye on him, poor guy couldn't catch a break thought the medicines seemed to give him diarrhea too! WE have a follow up appointment on Tuesday to see how he is doing! Here is a picture of Cooper a day shy of a one month old, prayers for my lil guy to fully heal!

Lovely Wednesday

Happy Hump Day!!! On to week three of kindergarten. Before school started Allison had a screening with her teacher to evaluate her and see what level she was at. After the screen was over I was told we would have a conference in the weeks to come but that Allison had a some what difficult time during the screening. As her mother of course I was pretty upset about this news, thinking come on I have a degree specialising in early childhood development and my kid is behind? Let's just say I shed some tears over it. During pre-school last year Allison struggled on her alphabet and we worked on that and over came it, I had letters all over the house for her to recognize ever night religiously we went over her alphabet. Allison was actually the only one in her class that knew all the letter sounds at the end of the year. So we weren't as on top of things this summer but every few days we would go over things. But Allison was having such a tough time blending words and putting them together. She was stuck and so was I, thank goodness for my sweet Aunts who bought me (all the way from California) some learning supplies! And boy do I mean supplies I got anything from puzzle words, flash cards, work books, and dry erase boards. So we kept at since the day of Allison's screening. And we had ourselves a min break through last night while reading Sam and Dog a phonics book. I sure hope Allison continues to push through and continuing on her path to reading.

On to my lil guy, Cooper James who recently hit the big 2 about 5 weeks ago! As I affectionately call him my Blue eyed demon or Mr. Destructo has been on several house rampages and many tantrums. But some times his sweet lil self with conquer and come out to snuggle with me or sit with me. 2 has always been my least favorite stage between learning and understanding to communicating and I feel that is where lil 2 yr old's get there frustrations. But it's also a time where they become a lil person's and are no longer babies. We're fiercely trying to work on taking away his pacifier and patently embarking on potty training.

Labor Day Adventures!!

Yesterday was Labor day and Richard and Allison had the day off!!! We slept in had a few things around town to accomplish and then enjoyed a late chili dog lunch and chocolate cake. After Richard and I cleaned the kitchen together we thought it would be nice to take the kids to do something fun and decided to take them to Hastings to pick out a movie and play with the train table and then wrap up at the duck pond to feed the ducks! My sister and her son showed up about half an hour after we arrived and we all had plenty of fun feeding the ducks, watching out for turtles and gold fish! If you can imagine Cooper waving to every duck, poor things running away scared! After our duck adventure we washed the Jeep only for it to rain today, but at least the inside is still vacuumed and crystal clean! Here are a few pictures from our adventure!

Allison missing tooth, and other thoughts....

Allison lost here first tooth on Friday! It had been loose for weeks. It was kind of sudden, we had been at my nephews football game most of the night and left the game a little early due to traffic and a minor emergency with my sister's son. We barley turned out of the parking lot and Allison says "OH, NO my tooth is gone!" We were all stunned and weren't sure what she meant and I said to her. "What do you mean its gone, did you wiggle it out?" "No mom its just not there any more, I cant find it any where." So we pulled over and searched for her tooth, not long after I found it on the floor board of the car and safely put it away in my purse. We came home from a long drive and put the kids to bed and the tooth fairy visited not long after. At 6 in the morning Allison woke us up to tell us excitedly I might add that the tooth fairy came to visit her and brought her a gold coin and a dollar bill, then she calmly walked back into her room and went back to bed for two more hours

I honestly was stunned when Allison told me her tooth was loose. I thought no way your like six when that happens, but then again I remember my love bug received her first tooth in a pair I might add at three months old which shocked me also. And then again, this was the child at five months old was holding on to things and trying to walk! I remember attending a friends baby shower in October when Allison was 5 1/2 months old and the child was walking and people couldn't believe it! Allison has almost always been above average on certain developmental milestones. When she was 1 years old we went to lunch with one of my sisters and also my mother and Allison told the waitress "I am one years old today!" she was stunned but my lil daughter had been talking for months! I honestly cant believe I have a five year old, time has certainly flown by especially since the birth of Cooper. Before that Allison and I were by our selves for three years. I could say that from the moment my daughter was born she changed me, but that wouldn't be true, in utero my daughter changed me. I've said it before Allison has stolen a piece of my heart and I will never be the same. She has not only changed my out look on life but the entire way I view love. Anyway here's to future milestones my five year old will be reaching in the next several months.

~Week 2~

What a bummer I was on my blog this past month, I am not sure this month will be any better, but I am sure going to try. I planning on dedicating one post to recap and finish the California chronicles. We survived another week of kindergarten. It has had its highs and lows. Everyday I pick Allison up from school she seems so pumped and tells me she had a great day and had fun with friends and learned something new. But once she gets home after awhile and before bed she goes to bed she complains that she doesn't want to go to school because she will miss me and the day last to long. One day she pretty much cried all afternoon and asked me if I would walk her to her class room because that's when she misses me the most. I had lunch with her on Friday and she did good, although Cooper was a wild little boy, break dancing on the cafeteria floor while the entire kindergarten cheered him on ugh such a ham. And then that night we headed out to another football game for my nephew. The rest of the weekend has been pretty rest full and I sure needed that. The week is so full of preparation for Allison school, study/homework for Allison, cleaning, running after Cooper, entertaining Cooper, Soccer practice. Some times I don't know if I going right or left! The important things are getting done but some things are falling through the crack! I am sure as the next few weeks go on things will work them self out for know I am just trying to survive! Thank goodness tomorrow is a holiday and Tuesday Allison is having some dental work so no school tell Wednesday what a relief.
