Straight A's

Yesterday Allison got her report card in, another 9 weeks of straight A's!!!! Allison also had a soccer game last night. What a great game, it was a close one for sure. Allison scored three goals and we won the game 6-3! For the last couple of weeks commercials of the new Alvin and the chipmunk movie have been on the TV. If you know Allison she has a bit of an obsession with all things chipmunk! It is actually one of her longest obsessions besides lamb. Well this morning when I woke up at 6:30 guess what I saw sitting on the counter, the new Alvin and the chipmunk DVD! My sweet husband must have woke up extra early to go to the store and buy the DVD for his daughter! I immediately woke up Allison and she screamed and then cried saying how much she loves her daddy! And before school we got to watch a little bit of the movie.

Soccer, lunch date, and a birthday party!

Saturday was a full wonderful day! Allison had a 10am soccer game to start off our day. It was a great game and all the girls played really well, it was such wonderful weather not to hot yet! After the game was over my wonderful in laws took the kids to lunch and watched them for a few more hours. Richard and I were able to enjoy a lunch and movie date together. Its crazy how I took my in laws for granted when we lived in the same town, because our date nights are very few and fare between know! It was so refreshing to have lunch together by ourselves uninterrupted by our kiddos. We actually got to have full conversations. After lunch we went to see the Hunger games, I hadn't read the books actually but I really enjoyed the movie!! Straight after the movie we picked up the kiddos and head to our friends son's birthday party. The kids seriously had a blast! My friend is so creative and had a lot of neat activities planned for the kids and Richard and I got to chat with a lot of friends from church. It was a seriously wonderful Saturday!

Another AR run!

This afternoon Allison had her second Accelerated Reader run. I literally rushed my afternoon in Midland to head back to Hobbs to make it on time to Allison school! Cooper slept the whole way back to Hobbs and we made it into town with 30 minutes to spare. Cooper and I got a fabulous seat right up front. Allison was of course beaming, the AR run was all she could talk about all week! She made sure I put her hair up earlier this morning so it wouldn't get in her face while she would run. This was Allison second time to run in the AR run. That girl is obsessed with making her goal and sometimes I catch her reading books after her bed time! I would say half of first grade made there goals. Allison was about fifth in line and that little girl sure can run! My pregnant brain didn't remember to bring my camera but thanks to my phone I got a good picture of her but the video of her running didn't come out! After school I took the kids to the park and to get slush's!

Dr appt

This morning Cooper and I drove into Midland for my 24 week appointment. Although tomorrow I am officially 25 week!! It was an easy appointment, not to many of those left. Cooper was an angle as always, sat still and super quiet. I finally gained 4 pounds, which I can tell Mr Beckett has grown and I can feel his little kicks and punches extremely well! There is nothing like the feeling of your baby moving inside you, its miraculous. My doctor measured my belly which was right on schedule. My blood pressure was as normal, low. Becketts heart beat was perfect at 150 beats. Cooper was so sweet when he heard the heartbeat "That's my baby brother!" Then as we walked out of the office he said "So know when does my brother get to come out?" the nurses and the Doctor laughed! After my doctors appointment we headed to Jason's deli to have lunch with my mom and sisters. I couldn't get over how busy that place is during lunch gezz! It was a nice quick lunch, lol how much can 5 women get in in less then 45 minute!

Chuck E Cheese Party

Saturday after Allison's soccer game we headed into Midland for my nephew Ryu's 5 th birthday at Chuck E Cheese. All day the kids were ready to go to the party. Cooper kept telling me "We need to leave we are going to be late!" I thought for sure it being Saturday night it was going to be crazy but we had a nice spot away from everyone! Allison ran back and forth to me for tokens, that girl was a wild game player, I think she scored over 300 tickets! Cooper enjoyed dancing with Chucky and playing in the tubes with his cousins. I love my little nephew so much and am so glad we were able to spend time with him and celebrate his birthday!

Soccer Game

On Saturday Allison had a soccer game. The weather was by far the best that we have had all season! Having a 1pm game makes Allison impatient all day, that girl is ready to play! Cooper was so good during the whole game. He literally didn't budge from his chair, although I found him taking my picture with my camera that sneaky boy! Our girls played great, we won our game 7-0!

No Copper

Thursday night we came home from the lake. Friday was suppose to be a lazy day, although it turned into unpacking, washing, packing for our trip to Midland, and grocery shopping! The kids were kinda moody they weren't getting along. At one point Allison had told Cooper to get out of her room for like hundredth time. She finally came and got me to show me what she made for her door, a NO COOPER sign! Lets just say the sign hasn't left the door since Friday!

Lake Brownwood 2012

Out third annual trip to the Lake with the Sanchez family. Normally we go during Easter weekend but this year due to another family event we had to go during spring break. The weather was pleasant, not to hot or to cold. Allison had a blast, she kept up with everybody and did everything all the older kids did. Allison got to go hiking, swimming, and fishing. We tried to fit a ton of fishing into this trip and we still didn't catch any fish this year. Miss Allison got really good a casting and reeling her line, Cooper even liked doing it. Although Cooper wasn't really into any of the above, but just want to be where the crowd was. It was a great trip with tons of family time, great company, and delicious food!!

Firestation tour

This morning I took the kids on the fire station tour with the mommy group I am apart of here in Hobbs. It was nice to get out of the house before our list of to do's to prepare for our lake trip tomorrow like getting gas, washing the car, and packing etc. The kids were wonderful!! Although towards the end Cooper was ready to go, somebody was hungry because he didn't eat his pancakes before we left. Allison asked me tons of questions about the firefighters and there vehicles. I think Cooper's favorite part was of course the fire trucks and the ambulance.

Sunday adventures

Yesterday afternoon we were cleaning out the highlander to prepare for our lake trip tomorrow. The kids were riding there scooters around the drive way. I was vacuuming the highlander out and Richard was switching the car seats and dvd players to the back of the highlander. Cooper was enjoying drawling with chalk, I noticed Allison was siting on the neighbors brick fence and she looked so pretty I had to grab my camera, when I said I was going to take a picture Cooper joined in. Love my kiddos!

Lubbock Shopping trip!!

Saturday morning we left to Lubbock for a shopping trip! Allison soccer game was canceled due to the weather so we were able to get on the road earlier. I told myself I was going to take a picture of all the shopping bags but I forgot! I have been buying things for Beckett on line, stuff like a changing table a new rocking chair etc. But I was ready to buying him some more clothes. Carters was on my list and so was baby gap, and children's place! I also wanted to get the kids some spring clothes and Cooper an Easter outfit. Richard needed some new shoes and I bought a few maternity tops. Although I found no dresses, I am so worried about what I am going to wear to my niece's wedding in May. I might just wear my curtains lol! We also took the kiddos to the science spectrum. I was happy to see Cooper having so much this time around, of course Allison had a blast too! We ate good food and enjoyed the day together!

Baby talk 3

Yesterday Cooper brought me Beckett's sonogram pictures and wanted me to look at the pictures with him. After I explained ever picture Cooper said "Where is Becketts clothes?" I told Cooper that Beckett doesn't have any clothes on. I told him babies are naked in there mommies belly. Well lets just say that didn't set well with Cooper. "I had a shirt on when I was in your belly mom, I was not naked!"

Birthday party and soccer game!!

Friday we started our weekend out by taking Allison to a friends birthday party. What an event that was! The children decorated cupcakes, cookies, pursers, and name plaques! Allison had alot of her friends at the party and she had a blast with her buddies! This weekend was the Hobbs soccer tournament. We had three games against some pretty tough teams. The weather wasn't that nice, and the wind was pretty bad. Richards family came into to town for the games. Unfortunately we lost all three games! The girls didn't play there best but we played against some pretty amazing teams. Allison received a pin, flag, necklace, and a soccer ball from the tournament. In all it was a fun experience!! I totally forgot the camera at the soccer games, but here are a few pictures from the birthday party.

Mother daughter time

Tonight I was Watching say yes to the dress while I was online doing some shopping for Beckett. Richard was in the living room playing with Cooper, Allison came in my bedroom and set on the bed with me. Allison started making comments about the show, "I would only have to try on three dress and then I would know what to pick." Then the show four weddings came on and Allison started asking me questions like, "Where did you go on your honeymoon? Can you go on my honeymoon with me, I want to go to Hawaii for my honeymoon." Then the conversation turned into "Maybe Beckett will turn into a girl, or you can have another baby and it might be a girl." Someone asked me a few days ago what we were having and when I told them it was a boy, the women said aw that's sad! I thought why is it sad? I admit I wanted to give Allison a sister because my sisters mean so much to me. But I think Allison has many Aunts, grandmas, and girl cousins to help balance out her life. I love Allison and I am so thankful Heavenly Father blessed me with a daughter first. I enjoy dressing Allison and fixing her hair, I love going and getting our nails done. I love buying her girly things. I also enjoy the time I spend with Cooper, and I cant wait for Beckett to join our family. I added a picture of Allison in her new swimsuit.
